The D10 Plus Gen 2 sits in a pragmatic spot in Dreame’s lineup — it’s not loaded with every feature the brand makes, but it packs the ones most people actually reach for day to day. The self-emptying dock is the standout: a 4-liter sealed bag takes care of debris removal for weeks at a time, so the robot can genuinely run unattended without you circling back to empty anything.

Navigation runs through a LiDAR sensor mounted on top of the unit. It spins continuously and builds a room-by-room map that you can then edit inside the Dreamehome app — drawing virtual walls, setting no-go zones, assigning cleaning modes per room, or designating no-mop areas so the mopping pad never touches a rug. Multi-floor homes are supported as well, with separate maps stored for each level.

The floating rubber brush is worth noting if you have pets. Its design reduces the common problem of hair winding tightly around the roller, and it adjusts slightly to handle the transition between hard floors and low-pile carpet. When the robot detects a carpeted area, it automatically boosts suction power to compensate for the added resistance.

For mopping, a 150ml water tank slots into the unit alongside the dustbin. Three moisture settings control how much water releases onto the mop pad during a run. It covers basic floor maintenance rather than deep scrubbing, but it handles everyday grime well on hard surfaces.
