Rare Mid Century Modern New Angle Sofa by Jorn Utzon

A grouping of Mid-Century Modern furniture designed in 1967 by Jorn Utzon and produced by Fritz Hansen. Jorn Utzon (Architect who designed the famous Sydney Opera House) designed this set to go in the Sydney Opera House. Unfortunately production was halted when Utzon left Australia due to a new government that didn’t share Utzons enthusiasm for modern architecture. The set includes one sofa, one chair, and two tables. The sofa and chair have been expertly reupholstered and are ready for use. The aluminum frame on each piece may have very minor scuffs due to age and use but there are no major issues that would detract from value or aesthetics such as deep gouges etc. Each table has a small chip in the white micarta top and some hairline cracks. The tops could be easily repaired or touched up but due to rarity we wanted to leave that decision up to the new owner.
